Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.
